Despite the boring first impression, I found the task of recreating the “Museum of Branding” session quite enlightening. I’ve never been the one for drawing fonts, I hardly notice them in fact. However, forcing myself to do this has taught me just how big the differences between typefaces are. They are like miniature people. Different general shapes, different details, different moods.



The task was to find eight typefaces that we feel express the values of our brand. In my case it was mostly positive attitude and happiness, and instead of visiting the museum (which I hopefully will find time to visit one day—probably once my course is over), I found images of vintage packaging online. Here is what I came up with:
