Last Friday Sara has talked to us about ‘The new Blood’ competition, which is run each year.
She showed us the price that she has won for it (in 2000, the year I came to this country), and explained that it has helped her a lot in her career afterwards. Apparently, she didn’t expect to win, and that it can happen to anybody. So it’s always worth a try for us (we’ve got no choice anyway).
We received three briefs, from which we have to choose one or two (one for those who will do a work placement of sixty hours, and two for those who won’t). All three look quite complicated, certainly the most complex briefs I’ve even got. None of them stands out for me so far, but I will do some detailed reading of them as soon as I can.
